Project Execution

Concept

The idea was to build a decision-making chamber—not an office. Elrune conceived the space as a psychological anchor, where every material, light, and proportion fosters confidence, clarity, and command.

Vision

We envisioned the Aether Boardroom as a sanctum of contemporary leadership—serene, cinematic, and undeniably powerful. A place that holds energy without being loud, and radiates trust without explanation.

Inspirations

Influenced by Japanese tea rooms, Scandinavian restraint, and monolithic power architecture, the space was grounded in dark elegance. Inspirations also came from film—specifically, the way light is used in noir cinema to evoke presence.

Design Philosophy

Elrune believes that a leader’s space should never compete with their voice—it should support it. The boardroom was designed to neutralize distractions, slow the pace, and ground the mind. Dark palettes, velvet sound absorption, and asymmetrical symmetry were the core principles.

Execution

Execution required on-site sound mapping and day/night light modulation. A custom onyx table was precision-crafted in Belgium. The room was wrapped in velvet-acoustic panels, with inset gold trim that only revealed itself under evening light. Lighting was coded to shift hue with meeting duration. Every chair was custom-fit—not just to bodies, but to postures of power.

Project Review

Project Review

“This space feels like it listens to us. Our leadership meetings have shifted from transactional to intentional—and that’s the Elrune effect.”
